AIA Wisconsin’s Built Culture Network (BCN) connects architects, AEC professionals, and the design-curious public with organizations and destinations across Wisconsin that celebrate arts, history, and the built environment.

The network includes museums, cultural institutions, historic sites, architectural landmarks, and other places that highlight the value of design in shaping our communities. This page features our BCN partners, each with a brief overview and a link to their website to learn more. Whether you are planning a team outing, hosting clients, organizing an event, or simply looking for inspiration, the Built Culture Network makes it easy to discover meaningful architectural and cultural experiences throughout the state.

Unitarian Meeting House
Madison, WI
The Unitarian Meeting House, constructed in 1951, was Frank Lloyd Wright’s own church. He was a member of the First Unitarian Society, and his parents were founding members in 1879. Wright called the Meeting House his “little church in the country”. In 1964, the American Institute of Architects named the Unitarian Meeting House one of Wright’s 17 most important contributions to American culture because of its profound effect on church architecture. Tour proceeds support vital preservation efforts on this National Historic Landmark. Click here to learn more.
