Please join me in welcoming our new Executive Director, Dawn Latham, IOM, CAE! Dawn will officially take the reins on Monday, April 21, 2025.
Dawn served as the CEO for the Iowa Society of CPAs, working closely with the board of directors in advancing initiatives important to the accounting profession. Previously, she held leadership roles with the International Association of Lighting Designers, the American Red Cross, and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Early in her career, Dawn worked for a US Senator.
In 2004, Dawn earned the designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE). And, in 2016, she completed a comprehensive course study in nonprofit management through the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) program. Dawn remains active with ASAE, currently serving on the Small Staff Association Advisory Council. Dawn graduated from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls. She is married and has two cats named Potato and Marty. Outside work, Dawn enjoys running, cycling, and practicing yoga.
