Please join Wudeward Urban Forest Products, in conjunction with AIA Wisconsin, in a tree-planting event to learn more about the urban forest and the role we all must play in its sustainability and regeneration.
The simple act of planting a tree begins a virtuous circle of life and regeneration. The trees that make up urban and community forests provide essential benefits and create healthier environments for people. When those trees reach end of life, their urban wood can be incorporated back into the built environment to further promote health and well-being for generations to come.
The urban wood industry that supports this virtuous circle of life is reliant on architects, interior designers, and others who collaborate on the beauty and function of a building and the spaces within it. By strengthening our connection to urban and community forests, we gain a greater appreciation of living trees as well as the possibilities of urban wood in the built environment.
