Join us for the 2025 AIA Milwaukee member celebration and year-end party with a special presentation by Peter D. Cook, FAIA, NOMA, Design Principal with HGA in Washington DC. This presentation will look at three differently scaled projects—from a large-scale civic work to a small landscape intervention—and explore how meaning and form is created through a process of research, empathy and equity.
Student Model Display:
As with previous End of Year Events, the party will also showcase UWM SARUP sophomore studio design projects. Attendees will get the chance to purchase votes to select the most compelling model where student designers of the top 3 projects are awarded. All proceeds will be donated to WAF (Wisconsin Architect Foundation) to support student scholarships.
2025 Annual Giving Campaign: Food Drive
Each year the current AIA Milwaukee President chooses a non-profit / cause to support for the annual giving campaign. This year AIA Milwaukee will be supporting our local food pantries. For every non-perishable food item brought with you, an extra vote will be received in voting for an inspiring sophomore studio design project.
