The LIVE TOUR will benefit participants by providing up-close observation of the glass fabrication process, providing insight to the resources and technology required; in addition to witnessing quality control measures that help design professionals satisfy their client requirements. The tour will begin with a presentation followed by a walk-through of the plant. The objective of the presentation will be to introduce participants to the steps and procedures of fabricating architectural glass. In addition, the presentation will cover safety requirements. The walk-through will cover the steps of architectural glass fabrication from cutting and washing to the fabrication of the finished insulating glass units.
