Please join us for a virtual "Roundtable" presentation and discussion of "Wisconsinisms". The presentation will be led by Chris Rute, AIA, and will be co-hosted by NE WI leadership. The State of Wisconsin first adopted some of the International Code Council’s suite of codes in 2002. During the adoption process, certain provisions in the model code needed to be amended to address specific concerns for Wisconsin buildings and where Wisconsin statutes made the amendment necessary. This virtual presentation and follow-up discussion will be an in-depth review of the amendments made to the International Code Council suite of codes for the State of Wisconsin. It will look at the key Wisconsin amendments that are critical to the design of buildings and address their origin and intent.
